Weizenfelder Kennel
Daily Kennel / Farm instructions.
Start of the day (10-11 a.m.)
Back yard dog’s are let out to go potty, exercise and kennels are cleaned.
All dogs can go out in their safe group.
We have many dogs that CANNOT go out together.
1st Group:
Shield, Charger & Bentley.
2nd Group
Astra, Jupiter, Willow, Geiger, Luna
3rd Group
Ani , Kuruk and Solace
Group 1 can be let out and moved to the large exercise area behind the house and the gate between areas needs LATCHED VERY WELL! (They can stay out the entire time the other groups are out and back in.)
Always be careful letting this many dogs out at one time, they can knock you down. Do NOT let them jump on you, they do know better! But will try to get away with it.
Once those dogs (Charger, Shield and Bentley) are in the large area, you can then let Group 2 into the exercise area in front of the kennels.
LUNA… Crazy LUNA girl. She is the sable German shepherd. She is honestly harmless however will try and run behind you when her anxiety is high and will bite you! It is a quick and unprovoked bite. She gets very worked up the first few minutes she is let out and barks and runs around you trying to find an IN-for the bite!
Once you get the hose going or pick up the scooper she usually stops. She is scared of both so will no longer mess with you!
Clarence (The Border Collie) Should NOT be let out. Sadly, he is too aggressive, and Jason will be 100% in charge of letting him out to potty in the morning before he leaves for work and also when he gets home from work.
During their exercise time, this is when you will:
1st Clean up any dog poop from each kennel.
3rd Squeegee all water from the kennel floor and allow to dry.
A moisture rich environment harbors parasites and protozoa. We want all kennels to stay as dry as possible.
If a dog EXPLODES a kennel with poop and gets covered in it. Hold them inside of the kennel and (They won’t like it) but wash the poop off of their legs/feet and bodies. Just a quick rinse to get off what you can see.
This usually only happens if they are not let out early enough in the late morning.
Once all dogs have been exercised and have been placed back into the clean kennels, walk both exercise areas and clean up all feces from the ground. Dumping the scoop of poop into the trash can by the entry fence.
To meet all inspection and regulations feces must be cleaned daily!
Once Group 2 is done in the kennel exercise area, you can put them back into their kennels and let out group 3 (Ani, Kuruk and Solace). Let them run around and go potty. Clean their kennels and then place them back into their kennels.
Be very CAUTIOUS of Beau! He is also aggressive and will HURT YOU. He is the large German Shepherd in the corner. Jason will also let him out in the morning and when he gets home from work. No need to let him out.
We have NO indoor dogs at this time so nothing indoors will need done.
However, if you can then go down to the barn kennel. I have two dogs housed down there.
Two German Shepherds. (Dux and Harley)
I just want you to get eyes on them. Harley is nice, DUX is NOT NICE. DO NOT enter that kennel for any reason.
But do get yes on them, make sure they are safe, healthy and doing good.
